What was the process like to meet online for a appointment?

"First I got in contact with Megan through text. We set a date that worked and then face-timed through Zoom."
What did you do to get ready?
​
"I did what I normally do to relax at any point in my day, which isn’t much. I put on my comfiest clothes and made my bed. Then I set up my laptop so that it was facing me and my body could be seen while laying down."
How easy was it to set this up?

"It was incredibly easy. Megan and I communicated through text and we set a time. She was very flexible and confirmed right before the appointment time. She sent me a link and all I had to do was download Zoom and then I was done."
What did you think before the session?
​
"Before I had the reiki done, I was a bit worried that the distance would affect things. I had only had reiki done once before and I liked how I felt during and after, but I wasn’t sure if the benefits would show through distance. I was happily proven wrong."
Did you feel anything while laying there?
​
"I felt very calm when I was laying down. As someone who is constantly typing, reading, and trying to make deadlines, I find it hard to unwind and not be so anxious. If I’m not working, I usually feel anxious about my work that still needs to be done. During the session, my mind was clear and calm. I was able to relax in a way that I haven’t been able to for weeks."
Did you sense anything?
"Throughout the session I sensed things in different parts of my body at different times. For the majority of the session, I felt a lot going on in my stomach area and Megan explained to me afterwards how my stress and anxiety were affecting that area. Of course she explained in perfect detail, but my takeaway was that in order for her to clear my energy, it had to work through those areas in which it was tightly wound and muddled. My headaches, anxiety, and poor sleep schedule affected what areas I felt being cleared during the session."
What happened when you were done?
"When the session was over, Megan told me to slowly open my eyes. I felt very calm and relaxed, but not drained of energy like I normally did after working all day. We talked about the session and she asked if I had any questions. I asked her about what I felt and what the effects should look like and she thoroughly answered all of my questions."
What did you think after the session?
"After the session, I was entirely convinced that distance reiki can work. I felt so energized afterwards, it was unbelievable. I was able to fix my sleep schedule as well. Of course there is no miracle cure for everything, but the effects were definitely noticeable."
How did you feel afterwards?
"After the session, I felt very calm, relaxed, clearheaded, and full of energy. I didn’t have a pounding headache or indigestion anymore."
How long do the effects last for?
"It’s been a week since I had my distance reiki session. So far, the effects have lasted and have been incredibly helpful as I work to finish out my last assignments. I haven’t had a single headache and my stress levels have gone down considerably."
Would you do it again?
"Absolutely. Anytime I feel so stressed that I make myself sick, I wouldn’t hesitate to make another appointment. I would tell anyone who struggles with anxiety, depression, headaches, nausea, fatigue, or even anyone who is worried about the current state of things to try distance reiki because of how much it has affected me."
